Deadzone & Firefight - Getting Started

Firefight and Deadzone are two sci-fi games from Mantic Games with interchangeable miniatures and similar rules. Firefight is played over a 4'x4' or 6'x4' tables representing armies colliding, Deadzone is played on 2'x2' mat and represents small strike teams of soldiers on covert missions colliding. 

New to wargaming, or playing with new gamers?  Start with Deadzone as it has terrain and the simpler set of rules which create more cinematic and immersive gaming experience. 

Firefight pits two full armies of infantry, vehicles, flyers and commanders at each other to control objectives. With more concepts and abstractions and larger model count, better for experienced wargamers.   Did we mention, OnTableTop's game of the year 2022 (link)
